Studio Kanti is a women-founded, cosmetic tattoo studio nestled in the heart of Victoria BC. They were the first dedicated cosmetic tattoo studio in the city which in itself is very cool. 

To make them even cooler, their mission is all about helping people feel their best, sharing education on cosmetic tattooing, and curating a spa-like experience for their clients.

Their issue was their branding felt outdated, their website had old information, and they wanted to create a more streamlined user experience.

So. We transformed their digital home.

The Project Goals

The big goals for this project included:

• Elevate their branding to reflect their welcoming, oceanside studio
• Create a streamlined user experience
• Leverage SEO throughout all their web pages
• Customize their website template design
• Write copy that speaks directly to their community

Branding + Design

Their old branding was dusty pink and dark gray but we elevated their palette with this beautiful blue and opted for a new font as well that spoke to this elegant, warm visual direction.

Another visual decision was to use a combination of black and white and color imagery. The varied images made a beautiful final design.

The Studio Kanti team opted to use a beautiful website template from Superhero Design that had all the design elements they were looking for. After customizing this template it was transformed!

Working from a template is great for several reasons:

• Faster turnaround time for your website
• Have a clear picture of your design right away
• Invest time and money in other areas like copy and imagery

Website Copywriting

The copywriting for any website is all about speaking to your audience, sharing information clearly, and integrating keywords for Google-friendly pages.

The section that really speaks to the copy for this website is this area that highlights what Studio Kanti cares about. What they stand for and how they help their clients.

Sometimes a clear, mission-focused statement like this stands out extra when the other areas of the page showcase information on the services and booking. I loved getting to highlight the inspiring motivations of this team!

My Favorite Part

I loved how this website template had a full desktop menu! We customized it and it turned into such a great accent piece with the copy and blue highlighted statement.
